Mr. Mark bidding farewell to his old home…

My name is Mark Sheddon.  I'm a long time resident of Encinitas and a retiree from the San Diego Supercomputer Center at UCSD.

My project involved the complete demolition of my previous residence of 37 years, a 1000 sq ft beach house, in the Encinitas Highlands, and a new build of a 2076 sq ft traditional American farmhouse on the same property.  I've always had  the desire to be part of a new build.  I obtained a vintage Wedgewood stove many years ago and had been waiting for the right time and circumstance to build a new/old farmhouse around it.

I had the time of my life working with the Halcyon team.  I feel very lucky to have found Jeff and we've become great friends.  He "got my vision" from the very start.  Over the life of the project he suggested, designed, and implemented many of the details that make a house a custom home, going way beyond what a typical contractor would provide.
