My name is Tamzin Pabst. I’ve lived in Southern California for over 35 years and in my current home for 20 of those years. My greatest joy comes from my grown children, my friends and my dog Zinny. Now retired, I fill my days as an artist or with cooking, reading, gardening, yoga or playing Mah Jongg.

I’ve undertaken three projects with Halcyon. The first being a rebuild of a ‘green flash’ inspired double entry gate and a complimentary side gate. The second project was a remodel of a ‘tired’ kitchen and two outdated bathrooms. The third, and just completed project, involved building two pergolas with sunshades.

Having experienced ‘the contractor from hell’ many years ago, I was very reluctant to try another remodel. Thankfully, working with Halcyon proved to be the exact opposite of that experience. It is SO much fun to work with Halcyon and their sub-contractors! To a person, they are delightful to have in my home, each is trustworthy and does exceptional work. The collaborative process with Halcyon is filled with easy rapport, spot-on design knowledge and excellent product recommendations.

Walking into my new kitchen each day still fills me with delight. Each project has only added to the beauty and serenity of my home. But, by far, the greatest outcome of having worked with Jeff is that he and his family have become a part of my family – there is no higher recommendation I could give than that!
